After 22-months of the nation being held captive by an illegal investigation with the sole purpose of trying to depose a sitting US president, the nation and President Trump have finally been freed, or have we?
In the wake of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s final report, President Donald Trump and members of his 2016 election campaign have been fully exonerated of the bogus allegation of colluding with Russia to interfere and sway the election of favor Trump. President Trump and his personal attorney Rudi Giuliani have called for an investigation of the investigators involved in the Mueller ‘witch hunt’.
Sen. Lindsey Graham, (R-SC), Chair of the Senate Judiciary Committee has announced that he is launching an investigation into Christopher Steele, the author of the infamous dossier, the Democrats who financed the dossier (which should include the Hillary Clinton campaign and Democratic National Committee) and the anti-Trump FBI employees that were involved in the attempted coup of the president.
Some want the entire report released, believing it still contains material that could be used against Trump. It should be noted that in Mueller’s report, he indicated that there was insufficient evidence of Trump obstructing justice or interfering in the special counsel investigation, but some Trump-hating Democrats are unwilling to accept the truth and that they have no grounds on which to remove Trump from office. Furthermore, they fear the exoneration by Mueller will help Trump win re-election in 2020.
This past few days, we’ve heard from many of the anti-Trump sewage stream media on their take on the Mueller findings, but have you heard the take from any conservatives? Here is the response statement from Judicial Watch’s President Tom Fitton:
“The long, national nightmare is over and President Trump has been vindicated. The corruptly-created and constitutionally abusive Mueller investigation failed to find any evidence to support the big lie that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government.”
“We’re pleased that AG Barr rejected Mueller’s attempt to smear President Trump with obstruction of justice innuendo by concluding that no such charges could be credibly sustained. Frankly, Mueller never had a valid basis upon which to investigate President Trump for obstruction of justice.”
“Let’s be clear, neither Mueller, the Obama FBI, DOJ, CIA, State Department, nor the Deep State ever had a good-faith basis to pursue President Trump on Russia collusion. Russia collusion wasn’t just a hoax, it is a criminal abuse, which is why Judicial Watch has fought and will continue to fight for Russiagate documents in federal court.”
“The targeting of President Trump served to protect Hillary Clinton and her enablers/co-conspirators in Obama administration from prosecution. Attorney General Barr can begin restoring the credibility of the Justice Department by finally initiating a thorough investigation of the Clinton emails and related pay-to-play scandals and the abuses behind the targeting of President Trump.”
Fitton’s response pulls no punches in pushing Attorney General William Barr to investigate Clinton for her many transgression. The only problem I see with that is that Barr has stated in the past that he does not believe in the prosecution of political opponents as that lowers the United States to the level of some banana republics. My response to that is – Democrats have already set the precedent with the Mueller investigation; therefore, it is only right and proper for the shoe to be on the other foot.
Who would the Russians rather deal with as our POTUS, someone who comes to them with a big “Red reset button” (childish at best), allows our embassy to be overrun and our citizens murdered and who agrees to having Russia control a good deal of our uranium…..or someone who negotiates deals that consider the interests of the American people first?
As an American citizen, I prefer a POTUS, a Congress and a Judicial branch that stands up for me and the principals of our Constitutional government. Today, the POTUS is the only one I trust to do that.
Both Schumer and Pelosi who look down at the American people and have us believe they really care for the children in Central America , we should also n be look at waht part they may have contributed with Obama wrong doing sure he past his intention on to them and made them their were aware of a Obama s decision to spy on trump and his team lets look into past and present
NO one is above the law. the government needs to set an example with those responsible.
Agreed……
“Barr has stated in the past that he does not believe in the prosecution of political opponents as that lowers the United States to the level of some banana republics.”
The opposite is the truth! If we keep letting politicians get away with crimes, then we effectively have a ruling class that is immune from our laws, let alone accountability.
That situation would NOT represent a “government” of, by and for the people. Thus Bart’s position is as treasonous against our Constitution and Bill of Rights as the failed coup was!
